Job Description

• We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Account Officer to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, and providing support to the finance department.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage general ledger entries.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Support the finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Address and resolve accounting discrepancies and issues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Account Officer, Accountant, or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree /HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Salary
N150,000 – N170,000 per month.
