Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Sachet Technician to join our manufacturing team. The Lead Sachet Technician will be responsible for overseeing the operation of sachet filling machines, ensuring the production of high-quality sachet products in a timely manner. This role requires strong leadership abilities, technical expertise in machine operation and maintenance, and a commitment to quality control standards.

Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Operate and monitor sachet filling machines to ensure smooth and efficient production.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on filled sachets to ensure they meet company standards for accuracy, consistency, and appearance.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on sachet filling machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions with sachet filling machines in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
• Training: Train and supervise machine operators to ensure proper operation and maintenance procedures are followed.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production output, machine maintenance, and quality control checks.
• Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to create a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in sachet production.

Requirements

• OND, HND or B Eng.
• Proven experience operating and maintaining sachet filling machines in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to manufacturing operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and FDA regulations.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Technical training or certification in machine operation or maintenance.
