Job Summary / Role Description

• He executes the activities pertaining to the precommissioning and commissioning of the Plant.
• He operates in compliance with the quality requirements, health/environmental/safety regulations and following the stated procedures.
• He reports to the Commissioning Machinery Superintendent (CMT).
• He is assigned to the Project by AVIMP Head of Department.

Duties and Responsibilities
His main responsibilities are:

• To develop the detailed precommissioning procedures for Machinery & Packages, procedures for the functional tests of the machineries according to the instructions of Commissioning Machinery Superintendent.
• To field check the DAC and prepare relevant Commissioning punch list, following the CME instructions.
• Expediting closing of pending Punch List Items in accordance with Commissioning
• Superintendent (COT) priorities; Monitor and ensure the activities are carried out in accordance with the procedures and requirements.
• Ensure all safety rules are in force and are followed in field.
• Supervise the works of vendors’ specialists and ensure their efficient utilization.
• To organize and manage the operations in field of the assigned team from the Sub
• Contractor by controlling their job and the implementation of Plant Safety procedures in case of emergency.
• Support the Vendors specialists in the execution of the job and coordinate their actions with the Commissioning supervisors.
• Supervise the works of vendors’ specialists and ensure their efficient utilization.
• To keep records of all activities performed in the log book
• To produce the certificates, duly signed by the involved parties, and handover to certification engineer (QA/QC).
• Responsible for ongoing maintenance (planned and corrective maintenance on Plant Units already in Operation) in accordance with Commissioning Superintendent (COT) and Commissioning Machinery Superintendent (CMT) priorities
• Can be the authorized person designated by the site manager to receive or issue a Permit
• To Work according to the project Permit To Work Procedure

Person Specification
Knowledge & Qualifications:

• University Degree or equivalent Study background.

Experience:

• Management experience for an EPC company in for, at least, two plants as Commissioning Machinery Supervisor.
• Experience in Static equipment for Utilises & Offsites
• Plants for the gas treatment

• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail, management skills
• Team-oriented skills,  self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
